The much awaited announcement of the cast for this year’s exciting production of Pride & Prejudice has now been released!
The Talisman Theatre & Arts Centre is delighted to present the World Premiere of Jane Austen’s novel Pride & Prejudice which is already shaping up to a must see event of the 2023 programme. Artistic Director Steve Smith commented, “Bafta winner and Talisman Patron Andrew Davies has adapted his BBC TV version of the Jane Austen classic for the stage. This World Premiere will be a real coup for the theatre.”
Director Corrina Jacob is delighted to be able to share the (very nearly complete!) cast list. Head shots so you can start to put names to faces will follow soon.
After two open audition workshops held in November 2022 and in January 2023 and huge amounts of interest and competition for some of the roles Corrina said, “It’s wonderful to finally be able to announce the cast list and some very difficult decisions had to be made. It was wonderful that this created so much interest amongst local performers as we’re very much looking forward to getting into the rehearsal process with this production.”
